Storytelling has been Elena's passion since her early years. With a BA from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television and a Masters in Screenwriting from Goldsmiths in London, her career began in television development at CITV and CBBC. As a Creative Executive at Disney, she worked on Original Series and Co-Productions, honing her skills across comedy and action-adventure genres. However, Elena's expertise extends far beyond family programming. She has since developed live-action dramedies, thrillers, and character-driven dramas for adult audiences—areas where her creativity truly thrives.

Elena's versatility is evident in her work across various genres and platforms. At Wildseed Studios, she nurtured emerging talent as a Senior Development Executive, creating live-action and animated series for Sky, Nickelodeon, Netflix, and others. Later, as a Development Producer for Jellyfish Pictures, she led the editorial direction of Original content, overseeing projects for both family and adult audiences, and adapting books for publishers such as Usborne and Hachette.

Her team's innovative approach to digital storytelling earned an International Emmy Award nomination, highlighting Elena's ongoing commitment to quality and creativity. Beyond scripting, she also coaches individuals in various forms of storytelling, including speeches and business presentations, helping them communicate their messages with clarity and impact.

An enthusiastic speaker, Elena has hosted Story Workshops at prestigious institutions and companies like the London Film School, University of Gloucestershire, Nottingham Trent University, Jellyfish Pictures, and Wonderbly. She has shared her insights on panels at the Manchester Animation Festival, Children's Media Conference, Scripts Out Loud, and more. Elena’s dedication to supporting breakout talent is reflected in her role as a judge for the Royal Television Society Awards, where she has served multiple times.
